We require a dedicated and knowledgeable Qualified Employment Solicitor who knows there way round Employment Law like Lando around a Racetrack someone who values a supportive, friendly workplace with prospects for the future.
The successful candidate will specialise in employment law, providing expert advice and representation to clients on a range of employment-related issues. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a professional with strong negotiation skills to contribute to a reputable organisation committed to delivering high-quality legal services. The Employment Solicitor will be responsible for managing cases, advising clients, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation. The role advertised is full time Monday-Friday with 2 days working from home.
There can be flexibility for the right candidate returning to work after time off or Maternity/ Paternity Leave.
Duties
* Provide expert legal advice to clients on employment law matters, including contracts, disputes, dismissals, and workplace policies
* Draft, review, and negotiate employment agreements and related documentation
* Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and tribunal proceedings as required
* Assist in resolving employment disputes through negotiation or litigation
* Keep abreast of changes in employment legislation and ensure organisational compliance
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and guidance
* Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure consistent legal standards are upheld
* Prepare detailed reports and documentation for case files and client updates
Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor specialising or experienced in employment law
* Proven experience in negotiation within a legal context is highly desirable
* Strong understanding of employment legislation and regulatory frameworks in the UK
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently
* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on clarity and professionalism
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
