Job description
We operate a large HGV fleet comprising of tippers lorries of various sizes, grab lorries, roll on-off lorries and pick-ups that undertake third party muck away and deliver aggregates, soils and compost to a range of customers.
Reporting to our Transport Manager we are looking for a person to join our team and help further develop our tipper business.
Role
· Take incoming calls from customers – both businesses and private individuals - price new work and take orders.
· Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers and help expand our customer base.
· Work closely with our transport planner to assist in delivering outstanding customer service through organising the routing of our HGVs.
· Be willing to deputise for our planner in their absence and assist in managing our busy tipper fleet.
About you
· You will be used to a busy office environment and preferably have experience in all or much or the above.
· A "can-do" approach.
· Have excellent customer service skills.
· Be driven to deliver outstanding customer service.
· Confident professional telephone manner.
· A passion to work in a sales and transport environment for an expanding successful family business.
· A willingness to be involved in other aspects of our business such as heavy plant hire.

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year dependent on experience
