They are currently recruiting for a Principle Structural Engineer to oversee engineering projects including resource programming, design review and ensuring completion delivery.

Salary: £55,000 - £70,000 (Depending on experience)
Location: Rushden Northamptonshire
Hours: Monday - Friday working 9am-5:30pm (flexibility to offer hybrid working)

Responsibilities:
Manage engineering projects from concept to completion, including resource planning, scheduling, design reviews, and ensuring timely delivery within budget.
Serve as a technical point of contact for clients, providing expert advice and guidance.
Collaborate within a well-established team of Engineers and CAD Technicians, working in compliance with our Company Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001).
Provide mentoring, supervision, and quality checks for the work produced by Engineers and CAD Technicians.
Lead the conceptual and detailed design of construction methods and temporary works, with a focus on steel structures designed to Eurocode standards.
Conduct structural analysis reviews using STAAD Pro and LUSAS software.
Prepare detailed design calculations using Microsoft Excel (preferred) or manual methods.
Develop design sketches and drawings either by hand or using Autodesk AutoCAD and/or Inventor.
Oversee the CAD team in producing 3D models, general arrangement (GA) drawings, and manufacturing drawings.
Create technical documentation, including design statements, designer's risk assessments, and engineering method statements.
Assist in the preparation of tender designs and cost estimates. Required Experience:
A minimum of 12 years' post-graduate experience in structural analysis and design, with a strong emphasis on steel structures.
Proven experience in leading and managing technical teams.
Solid understanding of temporary works and construction engineering, including familiarity with heavy lifting equipment and techniques.
In-depth knowledge and practical application of Eurocodes in structural design.
Strong problem-solving abilities, with excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
Proficient in general IT applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and email systems.Benefits:
