About the role
As a Vehicle Technician in one of our workshops, you'll mostly be repairing and maintaining our fleet of delivery vehicles, ensuring they are safe and roadworthy to both VOSA and Partnership standards. You’ll be working with many experienced technicians who will ensure you have all the tools you need to succeed and excel in your role, with opportunities to develop your knowledge and progress your career.
At a glance
Salary - The salary offered for this role is up to £44,200 per annum.
Please note if you join us on or before 4 October, in addition to the pay stated, this role will attract a Shift Premium at a rate of 15% (calculated on the pay range minimum), an additional earning of up to £4,725 annually.
If you join us from 5 October 2025, in addition to your contractual pay, any time worked between 18:00 - 22:00 will attract an Evening Premium at £3 per hour for those enrolled onto Enhanced Hours Premium arrangements.
Working hours - Full-time role, 37.5 hours per week on a 2 week rota, with the expectation of working 1 in 4 Saturdays, at premium overtime rates.

* Week 2: Monday to Friday - 14:00-22:00

What you'll be doing
Ensure that the relevant sections of all inspections, services and defect sheets are completed in compliance with our O Licence obligations, and that all spares requests and time books are completed daily. Be aware of best practice and current commercial vehicle repair techniques to carry out high quality repairs in a cost-effective manner, ensuring use of spare parts and consumables reflects the level of work carried out.

Essential Experience / Qualifications
* City and Guilds Level 3 Vehicle Technician or equivalent qualifications
* Full UK Manual Driving Licence
* A proven background in transport commercial vehicle repairs
* Knowledge of commercial vehicle legislation and roadworthiness
Desirable Skills
* IRTEC
* LGV C+E Driving Licence
