Teaching Personnel Preston Branch is recruiting Trainee Teaching Assistants to work within welcoming primary schools across Lancaster starting from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with little or no school-based experience to gain hands-on training while making a real difference to pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Pay: From £14.25 per hour
Contract: Full-time, term-time only
As a Trainee Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils within primary school settings (EYFS, KS1, and KS2), working alongside experienced teachers and support staff to help children reach their full potential.
You will provide support on a one-to-one basis and in small groups, helping pupils overcome barriers to learning and develop confidence both academically and socially.
No prior Teaching Assistant experience is required.
