Role
Senior Product Manager – Data Enablement (Portfolio Services)
We are looking for a lead product contributor responsible for the validation, transformation, and import of custody feed pipelines into the core Addepar application and database. You will partner deeply with Engineering to modernize our ingestion architecture, streamline custody data mapping, and build tools that scale.
Applicants must have the right to work in the United Kingdom from day one. Visa sponsorship is not available.
What You’ll Do
* Own the "Last Mile" of Data: Manage the product roadmap for services responsible for importing, validating, and persisting custodial data into the platform.
* Modernize Infrastructure: Partner with engineering to evolve our architecture and legacy import tools into a modern, Databricks-native ecosystem.
* Streamline Operations: Work with internal stakeholders (Data Operations and Feed Analysts) to identify pain points and translate them into tools that automate issue triage, data reconciliation, and feed cutovers.
* Enhance Data Modeling: Drive intake and prioritization of data modeling enhancements to support complex asset classes and transaction types.
* Prioritize Ruthlessly: Balance immediate stability improvements with long-term architectural changes, set expectations with stakeholders, and keep the team focused on core commitments.
* Drive Observability: Champion the build-out of better telemetry and event logging, moving from reactive debugging to proactive system monitoring.
Example Projects
* Operational Observability & Proactive Alerting: Transform raw technical logs into user-friendly dashboards for non-technical teams, defining logic for proactive alerts that surface account‑level data issues.
* Revamping Test Environments & Data Egress: Lead strategy for simulating and verifying data imports, developing tools to manage egress of data into safe testing environments (sandboxes) for analysts.
Who You Are
* Extensive product management experience, preferably in data infrastructure, backend platforms, or fintech.
* Technical Fluency: Comfortable discussing API integrations, ETL/ELT pipelines, SQL, and data warehousing concepts (experience with Databricks or similar platforms is a plus).
* Internal Customer Mindset: View internal teams as primary customers, prioritizing responsiveness and empathy.
* Structured Thinker: Synthesize stakeholder requests into a clear, prioritized quarterly roadmap.
* Domain Knowledge: Experience working with financial data (custodians, transactions, positions, security masters) or data reconciliation processes.
* Clear Communicator: Effectively communicate status of complex technical migrations to non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
Our Values
* Act Like an Owner – Think and operate with intention, purpose, and care. Own outcomes.
* Build Together – Collaborate to unlock the best solutions and deliver lasting value.
* Champion Our Clients – Exceed client expectations; our clients’ success is our success.
* Drive Innovation – Be bold and unconstrained in problem solving; transform the industry.
* Embrace Learning – Engage our community to broaden our perspective; bring a growth mindset.
