Hours: 4 hours per week, to be worked during the weekend

A young gentleman in the Woodhouse Eaves area requires support to access the community and increase their independence.
Role Requirements
You will be required to provide support the client with:
1. shopping
2. budgeting
3. accessing the community
4. Independently meeting friends
5. engaging in voluntary and work opportunities (eg. LOROS or a Hospital Porter)
The client requires 1:1 support to assist with maximising their independence and to access community social and recreational activities.
4 hours per week. Times to be mutually agreed with Personal Assistant and the young man/his parents. It will mostly be early evenings and weekends.
You will be required to transport the client to places of interest, so you must have your own vehicle and a full, clean, driving licence.
The client is a friendly and lively 18 year old who has severe autism, and is unable to recognise risk and keep himself safe without support. He is very sociable and trusting but does not always recognise that this makes him vulnerable. The client likes to go for walks, live music, cinema, bowling and shopping. He also likes outdoor pursuits, theme parks and all social activities.
