Position: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Lincoln
Salary: £17.00/hour + overtime (£25.55/hour)
Hours of Work: 39 hours per week Mon-Thurs, 07:00-16:00 (8x hours basic + 1 hour overtime), Fri 07:00-14:00 (7x hours basic +2 hours overtime)

Nicholas Associates has an excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join a client based in Lincoln.
You will be responsible for general maintenance, welding, servicing, repair, and upkeep of machinery, vehicles, and estate infrastructure to ensure maximum operational efficiency and minimal downtime.
Work will be conducted both in the workshop and in the field, often outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities
* Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and carrying out scheduled servicing on plant & machinery.
* Troubleshooting and fixing machinery faults in the field, often working under pressure during peak seasons.
* Mechanical & Electrical fault diagnosis.
* Experience of hydraulics and pneumatics.
* Infrastructure maintenance, including estate buildings.
Essential Skills
* Proven experience in repairing agricultural machinery, heavy plant, or similar equipment.
* Strong understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, and diesel engines.
* Competence in using diagnostic software.
* A full UK driving licence.
Additional Information
* Sunday/Bank holidays = double time.
* Bank Holidays worked = day off in lieu or +8 hours single time paid on top of worked hours.
* Weekend work may be needed depending on needs of factory/maintenance department.
* Hours need to be flexible depending on maintenance works scheduled and breakdowns.
* Training courses provided to meet company health and safety policy requirements.
