We are seeking a confident and knowledgeable Employee Relations Specialist to join our People & Culture Team. This dedicated team is focused on providing consistent, expert advice that empowers managers, supports employee well-being, and enhances our service to residents.
What You'll Do:
As our Employee Relations Specialist, you will:
Be the go-to expert for all employee relations matters, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, legally compliant, and people-centred advisory services.
Collaborate closely with managers, providing guidance, coaching, and training to navigate complex cases with confidence and fairness.
Lead and develop our Employee Relations advisory team, cultivating a high-performing, customer-focused culture where service excellence is paramount.
utilise insights from case trends and data to identify opportunities for improvement, influence policy updates, and champion initiatives that enhance the employee experience.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and collaborate with the wider people team to execute our people strategy and achieve our vision.What We're Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
Extensive experience managing complex employee relations casework, including disciplinary, grievance, absence, and capability issues.
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and the ability to apply it effectively in practical situations.
Experience in a shared services or decentralised HR environment.
Previous experience leading or supervising a team.
A proven track record in supporting change programmes, such as TUPE transfers or restructures.
Experience in reviewing and improving HR policies and guidance materials.
A CIPD Level 7 in People Management (or working towards it).What's in it for You?
