About the Home
St Andrew's is located in the lovely village of Ewerby (5 miles to the east of Sleaford). The home is set around a beautiful old vicarage and now offers modern living accommodation while preserving its character. It provides personal and dementia care for 42 residents.

Responsibilities
* Promote residents’ independence, choice, dignity and respect, and ensure their physical and emotional well‑being.
* Lead the team to deliver the highest standard of care for residents.
* Support carers with personal care and daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating.
* Administer medication.
* Ensure knowledge of prevention of abuse of vulnerable adults and procedures when abuse is suspected.
* Provide input during shift handovers.
Requirements
* Relevant professional qualification (minimum Level 3 in Health and Social Care).
* At least one year of experience as a Senior Care Assistant in a residential or nursing home setting.
* Experience with person‑centred care planning.
* Full driving licence and own car.
* Live within 30 minutes of the home.
* Leadership and people skills, including effective one‑to‑one interactions.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage time efficiently.
* Caring and nurturing attitude with a positive, enthusiastic outlook.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Willingness to undertake additional training as required.
