The Role The Fitness Coach role is a great opportunity for an aspiring and ambitious fitness professional who has recently completed a Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification and who are at the start of their fitness career. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on coaching experience while developing the skills required to build a successful long-term career in personal training in a premium health club environment. This is a Full time, employed role with regular shift pattern across early mornings, evenings and weekends. The role will be fully supported with a structured development programme including mentoring and additional external courses with Study Active, Future Fit, Technogym, Les Mills and Therabody. Financial support will be provided to support the attainment of further suitable qualifications. Key Responsibilities: Supporting members on the gym floor with exercise guidance, motivation and techniques Delivering ‘Activation’ (induction) appointments and tailored exercise programmes Providing a high level of attention and customer service for members on the gym floor Learning how to develop, train and retain personal training clients Attending regular seminars, training and meetings with the wider fitness team Contributing to a professional and welcoming health and wellness environment for all members Following successful development and training, the role will progress into becoming a Personal Trainer, with the opportunity to build a thriving personal training client base and career within health and fitness. To be considered for this role, candidates should have a minimum Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification, have a passion for health and fitness and be eligible to work in the UK. Candidates should also be excited about developing themselves and their career with a genuine interest in supporting members achieve their goals.
