This is a fantastic opportunity for someone ready to grow into a full HRBP position with the support of an experienced HR team. In this role, you’ll gain hands-on experience across a broad range of HR activities strengthening your commercial awareness, building strong stakeholder relationships, and shaping the people experience across multiple sites. If you’re eager to take on more responsibility and develop your HRBP capability, we’d love to hear from you.**About the Position** **Days Per Week:**Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week. **Contract:**Full Time and Permanent **Location:** Hybrid, primarily supporting sites in Sittingbourne, Chatteris, Trowbridge and Ely, but UK travel maybe requiredThis role offers: The perfect bridge between HR Advisor and experienced HRBP Exposure to partnering with leaders and shaping people decisions Development in change management, ER leadership, data insights and coaching A supportive environment that encourages learning, growth and innovation **The Day to Day*** Partner with managers and leaders to support and deliver our people strategy* Use data and insights to understand workforce priorities and guide decision-making* Support organisational change activities such as restructures, succession planning and employee development* Lead and manage employee relations cases, ensuring fair and compliant outcomes* Produce and submit monthly HR reports for your regional sites* Build strong, trust-based relationships and positively influence stakeholders at all levels* Act as the local HR contact for initiatives delivered by specialist teams* Help identify and resolve the root causes of people and operational issues* Coach and develop leaders to enhance performance and engagement across their teams**The Essentials*** CIPD qualified (Level 5) with experience in a generalist, advisory or multi-site HR role* Someone who is ready to step into a true partnering role and grow their strategic HR skills* A trusted professional with strong ethics, integrity and discretion* Excellent relationship-builder with strong communication and influencing skills* Inclusive, people-centric, and passionate about enabling others to succeed* Commercially minded, curious and comfortable using data to inform decisions* Adaptable and proactive, with a willingness to travel across multiple sites* Confident working autonomously while being part of a supportive wider HR team**Our benefits include:*** Annual Leave commencing at 25 days (rising to 30) plus 8 public holidays (pro rata for part time)* Ability to Buy annual leave.* Enhanced Company Sick Pay Scheme* Salary Progression Scheme based on technical and behavioural competencies.* ‘Celebrating Success’ Recognition Awards* Perkbox membership providing access to discount vouchers and wellness hub.* Learning/study support* Group Personal Pension Plan* Car Parking on-site**Working at ALS**The ALS team is a diverse and dedicated community united by our passion to make a difference in the world.Our values are important to us, and shape how we work, how we treat each other and how we recognise excellence.At ALS, you’ll be supported to develop new skills and reach your full potential.
