Internal Sales Executive £28,000 - £32,000 per annum Type: Full time, Permanent Location: Lichfield, Office Based Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm | 37.5 hours per week As an Internal Sales Executive, you will manage customer enquiries and ensure orders are processed accurately and efficiently. Your focus will be on providing an outstanding sales experience, supporting account growth, and driving repeat business through excellent service and relationship management. Key Responsibilities Respond promptly and professionally to incoming sales enquiries via phone and email. Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers, providing product guidance and support. Prepare, deliver, and follow up on quotations, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail. Collaborate with colleagues and other departments to enhance product knowledge and service delivery. Share insights and market intelligence to support sales strategy and business growth. Promote add-on sales and cross-sell opportunities to maximize revenue. Maintain accurate records within CRM systems and ensure information is shared effectively across teams. Attend industry events, trade shows, and meetings as required. Identify opportunities to improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and profitability. Skills & Experience Required Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience in internal sales, ideally within construction, or related industries. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. A proactive approach to learning and applying product knowledge.
