Pay rate: £90-£120 per day (Depending on experience)

Support vulnerable learners within a structured school-based setting and help them rebuild confidence in education.
GSL Education are recruiting for a committed Special Educational Needs (SEN) Support professional to work within a PRU unit based inside a school in Hartlepool. This role involves supporting students with additional needs, including SEMH and behavioural challenges, within a specialist provision that operates as part of the wider school community.
Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small group SEN support within the PRU unit.
* Assist students in managing behaviour and engaging positively with learning.
* Support emotional regulation and social development.
* Work closely with teaching staff to adapt resources and lesson activities.
* Maintain safeguarding standards and follow school policies at all times.
Requirements
* Experience working with students with SEN, SEMH, or behavioural needs.
* Previous experience in a PRU or alternative provision setting is desirable.
* Calm, resilient, and patient approach.
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
