GSL Education are delighted to be recruiting a Creative Teaching Assistant for a welcoming school in Middlesbrough. This role offers a daily rate of £90–£115, depending on experience, and is perfect for someone who wants to bring energy, imagination, and creative flair into the classroom.
Key Responsibilities of a Creative Teaching Assistant (TA):
* Support the delivery of creative, engaging, and inclusive lessons across the curriculum.
* Encourage pupils to explore their imagination through art, drama, storytelling, and hands‑on activities.
* Assist the class teacher in preparing creative resources and classroom materials.
* Promote confidence, self-expression, and positive learning behaviours in pupils.
* Work closely with children of varying abilities, offering tailored support where needed.
* Contribute to school arts projects, displays, performances, and extra‑curricular clubs.
Job Requirements for Creative Teaching Assistant (TA):
* Experience supporting children or young people in a creative or educational environment.
* A strong understanding of creative learning and its benefits for child development.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to motivate and inspire pupils through engaging activities.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
