Overview

At Joma Jewellery and Katie Loxton, we believe in the magic of meaningful gifting. We are seeking a Store Manager to lead our first-owned retail store, which will become our flagship in Milton Keynes Central. If you are an experienced leader with a passion for creating exceptional retail experiences and delivering commercial success in the gifting and accessory industry, this could be your next exciting opportunity.

As Store Manager, you’ll take full ownership of your store, leading a passionate, customer-focused team to deliver consistently outstanding results. You’ll drive KPIs, unlock upselling opportunities, manage stock integrity, and ensure operational excellence. You’ll shape a positive, high-performing store culture where storytelling and personalisation are second nature and every interaction is thoughtful, warm, and memorable.

You’ll manage day-to-day operations, develop and inspire your team, and create a seamless shopping experience that elevates every moment.

Responsibilities

* Customer Experience – Ensure consistent exceptional customer experience on the shop floor in line with brand values; champion upselling of personalisation services; ensure team knowledge of turnaround times, pricing, and service quality; act as escalation point for customer complaints or complex issues; keep the team informed and engaged with brand and product stories; train team to use personalisation equipment; monitor customer data capture and CRM activity.
* Commercial Performance & Reporting – Drive store sales and hit daily/weekly/monthly revenue targets; monitor and optimise KPIs such as conversion rate, ATV, and UPT; lead weekly trade calls with Head Office and provide feedback on sales performance, product lines, stock, personalisation uptake, and local customer insights; identify and propose store layout and traffic flow improvements based on footfall and results.
* Team Leadership & Development – Recruit, onboard, and develop store team members; manage weekly rota planning and ensure appropriate coverage; provide regular performance feedback and address underperformance with HR support; identify training needs and deliver coaching in line with brand standards; ensure clear communication of priorities and campaigns; maintain strong product knowledge across the team.
* Visual Merchandising & Store Standards – Maintain exceptional store and visual merchandising standards; follow brand VM guidelines and campaigns; share VM photos with Head Office; review layout efficiency and customer journey; ensure promotional materials and signage align with brand standards; support local marketing and events as appropriate.
* Stock & Inventory Management – Act as the key point of contact for stock feedback to Head Office; oversee deliveries, stockroom organisation, and replenishment; implement shrinkage prevention and participate in stock takes and audits; support Head Office with data and trade insight.


The Talent You’ll Bring

* Previous experience as a Store Manager or senior-level Assistant Manager, ideally in fashion, jewellery, accessories, or gifting retail.
* Passion for the brands and industry; strong track record of commercial success, KPI ownership, and team leadership.
* Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team in a customer-focused retail environment; strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* High standards of operational discipline, stock control, and visual merchandising; confident in using sales data and trade insight to inform decisions.
* Excellent storytelling skills to drive USPs; confident people manager with experience in performance management; familiarity with CRM systems or customer loyalty initiatives.

Desirable

* Experience supporting the planning and implementation of new stores; familiarity with personalisation services or in-store customization.


Benefits

* Salary £37,000 - £43,000 depending on experience
* 33 days holiday, rising to 35 with length of service (inclusive of bank holidays)
