The Role They are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Sports Coach who can deliver an inspiring and inclusive sports programme tailored to the needs of their SEN students. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on building positive relationships, adapting their approach to meet individual needs, and creating opportunities for every child to succeed. Key Responsibilities Design and deliver a sports programme that is inclusive and accessible for students with diverse SEN needs. Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and external professionals to support each student’s holistic development. Build strong, trusting relationships that help students feel safe, supported, and motivated. Adapt coaching styles to support students with ASD, ADHD, Autism, and a range of other needs. Promote physical activity, wellbeing, teamwork, and confidence in every session. Track and monitor student progress, sharing meaningful feedback with students and staff. Maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive environment during all lessons and activities. Requirements Experience in sports coaching, ideally within an educational or school setting. Previous experience working with children with SEN—particularly ASD, ADHD, or Autism—is highly beneficial. A strong understanding of the importance of relationship-building within SEN environments. Ability to adapt coaching methods to meet the needs and abilities of individual learners. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
