Overview
Trainee Coding & Programmer Placement Programme – a training programme with career placement and fees apply. It is designed for individuals with none or limited programming experience who want to start a career in coding, programming, or web development.
Program structure
The programme is delivered in stages with online courses, practical projects, and a portfolio. It can be completed at a pace that suits you and may take as little as a few weeks or a few months (study timing is approximate and assumes a minimum of 5 hours per week). Training times may be reduced if more time is invested.
Stage 1 – Learn HTML and CSS (up to 12 weeks)
* HTML Essentials (up to 6 weeks)

Training is delivered through multimedia video tutorials, presentations and quizzes via an online portal. You will be assigned an expert tutor and a support mentor who will work with you 1-2-1 or in group sessions.
Stage 2 – Additional Online Training (up to 12 weeks)
* Learn the Command Line (1.5 weeks)
* Learn Git & GitHub (1.5 weeks)
* Learn JavaScript (1.5 weeks)
* Learn Python 3 (1.5 weeks)
JavaScript is foundational for the web. Python is versatile and widely used across industries.
Stage 3 – Portfolio Website Project (1 week)
Your tutor provides exercises to help you build a personalised portfolio, which is essential for a programming career. Completion of optional but recommended study courses is also offered.

Stage 4 – Entry Level Web Administrator placement
We support you to secure your first role utilising your new coding, programming or web development skills. Entry level roles typically start between £25K - £40k, depending on prior knowledge or experience. Examples of roles include:
