Salary: £50,000 - £55,000
Our client is a leading building services expert specialising in innovative energy solutions. With a commitment to sustainability and efficiency, they deliver cutting-edge services to a diverse range of clients. As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a talented Energy Engineer to join their team at a large site near London Bridge.
As an Energy Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in optimising energy usage and implementing sustainable solutions at our client's site. You will leverage your expertise in demand logic, Sentinel platforms, and BREAM standards to drive efficiency improvements and reduce environmental impact.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement energy management strategies to optimise energy usage and reduce costs.
2. Conduct thorough energy audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
3. Utilise demand logic systems to monitor and control energy consumption in real-time.
4. Analyse data from Sentinel platforms to identify trends and opportunities for optimisation.
5. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to implement energy-saving initiatives.
6. Ensure compliance with BREAM standards and other regulatory requirements.
7. Provide technical expertise and support to onsite teams regarding energy efficiency measures.
8. Prepare reports and presentations outlining energy performance and proposed improvements.
Requirements:
Experience: Proven experience in energy engineering or a similar role, preferably in the building services sector.
Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of demand logic systems and their applications in energy management.
Familiarity: Familiarity with Sentinel platforms and their use in monitoring and analysing energy data.
Understanding: Strong understanding of BREAM standards and other sustainability frameworks.
Skills: Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets. Effective communication skills with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
Approach: Proactive approach to problem-solving and a drive for continuous improvement.
Certifications: Relevant certifications or qualifications in energy management would be advantageous.
