The Email Marketing Strategist reports to the Sr. Manager, e-Business and will be essential to the email marketing campaign planning and implementation process for the Thermo Fisher Scientific Microbiology Division. In this role, you will collaborate with a cross-functional team made up of e-Business, market development, regional marketing, and product management colleagues, to design, launch, and analyze multifaceted engaging email strategies that nurture and convert leads into revenue. A day in the Life: Conceptualise, create, and implement email marketing campaigns. Guide marketing team through email marketing standards Build and update email campaigns, from concept and design to launch and analysis Ensure appropriate review and approval of email campaign assets. Maintain data quality in email database and support alignment with CRM system. Leverage the marketing database for effective campaign segmenting and targeting. Coordinate with marketing colleagues to ensure integration with other digital marketing channels and analytical tracking. Generate reports, analyze results, derive insights, and develop strategies for how to improve future initiatives. Ensure global compliance and opt-in policies across all email communications Stay current and implement digital marketing trends Keys to Success: Proficient knowledge of email marketing Creative and outside-the-box approaches to problem solving Strong attention to detail, outstanding organizational capabilities Strong communication skills Exceptional project management Education Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing or related subject area preferred Experience Familiarity with Eloqua, AEM, Salesforce.com desirable Comfortable with scientific topics would be beneficial Working in global matrix organization Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Experience using Eloqua at a system administrator level including data management (Marketo, HubSpot, and MarketingCloud would also be considered) CRM experience Excellent written English Benefits We offer competitive remuneration, annual incentive plan bonus, healthcare, and a range of employee benefits.
