Network Deployment / Build Manager Viberoptix, part of the Fibrus Group of companies, deliver specialised fibre network build solutions from design, civils activities, cabling and splicing. We are seeking a Network Deployment / Build Manager to join our team. The Job Role: To manage and oversee end to end of the network build, from pre-planning through to testing stage ensuring the associated teams are meeting KPIs and targets Promote a positive attitude to work within the team and a determination and resourceful method of achieving goals Ensure communication with the team is effective and enable two-way feedback Programme & Planning of works including daily tracking of network build Overall management of each discipline associated with the designated OLT Oversee completion of works are carried out in line with acceptable handover including As-Built compliance / documentation Responsible for ensuring all DL and contractor resources have adequate work volumes and is planned to maximize productivity and commerciality Development of team resulting in streamlining processes as required on network Mentor and coach team members within the POD structure, to enable them to work effectively and efficiently Maintain stakeholder relationships including internal and external parties Chairing weekly progress meetings and ensuring Council permits are in place to keep works on schedule Management of monthly delivery volumes effectively, ensuring delivery targets are met Promote a culture of health and safety compliance, ensuring the team is trained and competent to meet standards required Co-ordination of work in line with delivery programme Manage expectations on date deliveries and volume delivery targets Manage risk register in line with delivery programme and documentation of possible delays Assess, review, and mitigate commercial & contractual risks Monitor work production outputs closely with regular dialogue with the commercial dept. On site visits as required Ensure relevant Health & Safety standards are followed and achieved The Person: Significant relevant experience in the utilities industry Previous management experience of teams The ability to motivate, manage and grow a successful team to deliver the highest possible standards Proven ability to build strong relationships Excellent organisation, communication and leadership skills Supervisors NRSWA accreditation with a thorough knowledge of The Reinstatement of Openings in Highways Experience of working within Openreach Physical Infrastructure Access (PIA) network (desirable) GIS/Autocad knowledge Experience of using Microsoft Office Full valid driving licence SSSTS or SMSTS (desirable) Company benefits: Competitive package – details available on request Van and fuel card Training and Development opportunities Excellent Career progression opportunities Contributory pension scheme Life Insurance and EAP Scheme Additional Information: This is not an exhaustive list of duties and requirements.
