As a member of the Revenue & FX team, you will be a pro-active and results driven individual able to balance multiple deliverables and prioritise your work whilst satisfying a strict control environment by retaining the highest standards of governance. Ideally you will have experience in working within a busy shared services function of a similar organisation.
This role could suit an experienced Part Qualified Finance/Accounts Assistant looking for a new challenge within a Global organisation with great career and development opportunities.
This role is office based in Witham but does offer hybrid working.
We will count on you to:
* Journal creation, review & approvals
* Balance sheet reconciliation review & approval
* Revenue system interface checking
* Intercompany loan entries and reconciliations
* Hedging entries and reconciliations
* Foreign Exchange analysis
* Foreign Currency exposure reporting
* Foreign Currency trading in line with exposures
* Bad Debt calculations and reconciliations
* Cancellation reserves and reconciliations
* Revenue accrual & deferral analysis
* Fiduciary reconciliations to sub ledger
* Project code analysis
* AD Hoc project work as required
What you need to have:
* Part/Qualified ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience.
* Intermediate skills in Excel
* Flexible and team player – able to develop close partnerships with onshore and offshore colleagues.
* Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and deliver results to short timescales.
* Previous proven ability to identify areas to improve efficiency, accuracy and analysis and suggest and implement process improvements.
What makes you stand out:
* Prior experience of Oracle and HFM (preferred but not essential).
* Experience in large organization or service center.
* Experience working with foreign currency.
