NLC4 £27, - £28, (Pro Rata) (Plus additional payments for non-core hours)

20 hours per week

Based in Kilsyth Swimming Pool, Kilsyth your main task will be to assist our customers within this busy sports venue and ensure that they enjoy their visit. The customers’ safety, especially within the pool area, will be your main responsibility.

All candidates should either possess a RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, be working towards the completion of it or be required to undergo appropriate training to obtain the appropriate qualification. A variety of tasks will be undertaken in relation to the efficient operation of the venue including general cleaning duties, setting out equipment and preparation for events.

You will work as part of a team and must be a strong swimmer. You will have a pleasant manner, good communication skills and a helpful approach when dealing with our customers.

You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member through Disclosure Scotland and obtain a satisfactory membership check prior to commencing in this role.

Work Pattern – Monday to Thursday, 4.30pm to 8.30pm and Friday 3.30pm to 7.30pm

In addition to the permanent positions outlined above, we also offer flexible casual worker opportunities for those who prefer flexible and variable hours on an ad hoc basis. Casual Leisure Attendants undertake the same essential duties and are ideal for individuals balancing study, other employment, or personal commitments. Work patterns will be discussed at interview, we welcome applicants who are motivated, team‑oriented, and committed to supporting the health and wellbeing of the local community.
