Job Opportunity: Urology Nurse Specialist

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated nurse specialist to join our dynamic Urology CNS team. The role focuses on supporting patients on the Prostate Pathway and performing flexible cystoscopy. Training for this procedure will span over 2 years. Candidates must be First Level Registered Nurses with at least 5 years of post-registration experience.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
* Urology experience with knowledge of care and management of prostate cancer patients is advantageous.
* Ability to work autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team.
* Competence in making complex clinical decisions using specialist judgment.
* Experience supporting TRUS return clinics and improving patient pathways is desirable.
* Possession of or working towards a Master's degree is preferred.
* Good IT, organizational, and time management skills.
* Possession of a non-medical prescribing qualification is desirable but not essential.
Additional Information
This role may be considered as an Annex 21 post at Band 7.
