Earn £12.60 per hour (Salary £24,638 per annum)

Typical shift as a Housing Concierge
7. If you want a quiet and calm night security job, then this is not the job for you! There is so much more than monitoring CCTV or patrolling the premises
8. First line of support when the wider team or networks aren’t available
9. Ensure building safety through patrols, fire door, locks and security checks
10. Think on your feet to handle incidents, from suspicious activity to emergencies
11. Pitch in with cleaning and tidying when needed

Job details
12. Travel between our Blyth supported services
13. Two week (rolling) rota between the hours of 08.00 and 20.00
14. Although you’ll lone work, we do get together regularly for training and team meetings.
15. Confident using technology for CCTV, records and customer support
You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that
You bring
16. Calm under pressure with strong communication skills.
17. Passionate about supporting vulnerable people (public service experience a bonus).
18. Sociable, observant, and quick to spot changes in behaviour.
19. Confident stepping in before issues escalate, handling situations sensitively.
20. A team player who’s also comfortable working alone, backed by our out of hours team.
21. To get from A to B, you’ll need a vehicle insured for business purposes. The great news is that we’ll pay your mileage!
