SX3 provide audit, resource and consultancy services to the insurance industry. Our business is expanding, and we are looking to recruit a skilled programme manager to support our management team in the successful delivery of our services. SX3 comprises a small team of employees who value straight talking, initiative taking and getting the job done. Once oriented in our business, you’ll be a self-starter and a safe pair of hands for our work. The role is adaptable, working under the supervision of the Head of Operations. The role is home-based, with flexible working to suit your schedule.
Key Responsibilities
Programme Management: Planning, Governance & Financial
* Develop and maintain the programme roadmap and timeline, monitor progress, and ensure that milestones are being met.
* Establish governance structures (steering committee, escalation paths, approvals).
* Develop and enforce project processes, standards, and quality frameworks.
* Track actual vs forecast spend and profitability at programme level.
* Track performance metrics (turnaround times, errors, quality scores) at programme level.
* Prepare and deliver programme progress updates, dashboards, and executive reports to internal leadership.
Internal Stakeholder Management
* Identify all project internal stakeholders, set up regular communication channels and reporting.
* Facilitate stakeholder onboarding for projects.
* Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts.
* Lead weekly reviews of the programme within SX3 and ensure issues/conflicts are identified and remedied.
Project & Resource Management
* Oversee multiple concurrent projects under the programme, ensuring deliverables are aligned.
* Monitor utilisation rates and ensure workloads are managed.
* Design and maintain dashboards and KPIs for project performance.
* Support the timely delivery of project reports to clients.
* Mentor internal project resource.
* Facilitate training for new project standards or tools.
* Support a culture of accountability and quality.
Risk & Issue Management
* Identify project/programme risks, develop mitigation plans and contingencies.
* Log and track issues to resolution.
* Escalate critical risks or blockers promptly.
Process Improvement & Quality Assurance
* Review project methodologies regularly to ensure best practice.
* Analyse closed projects for trends and root causes.
* Provide recommendations for process improvements.
* Implement continuous improvement initiatives.
* Facilitate internal audits to check consistency and quality of deliverables.
Technology & Data Management
* Oversee use of audit tools and data management systems.
* Help identify and implement technology solutions to improve project efficiency.
Skills Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years’ programme management experience
* Auditing/audit management experience
* Strong project and programme management experience with large and complex projects.
* Broad knowledge of project and programme management methodologies.
* Understand the wider objectives of the programme, such as business and strategic goals.
* The ability to work with a wide range of individuals.
* Strong leadership and managerial skills with appropriate experience.
* Strong knowledge of budgeting and resource allocation procedures.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £32,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
