Project Manager (Beacons and Navigation Equipment)
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Beacons and Navigation Equipment team. The team handles single and multi-test discipline projects focusing on COSPAS/SARSAT, AIS, Radar, and other marine navigation equipment. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing client and business expectations throughout test and certification projects to ensure contractual deliverables, timelines, and budgets are met.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Act as the principal intermediary between the client and operational teams throughout project lifecycle.
2. Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, preserving profit margins and resolving issues affecting profitability.
3. Manage client expectations and provide detailed project plans to track progress.
4. Coordinate with test supervisors to ensure timely delivery of test samples and documentation, facilitating smooth workflow.
5. Manage projects to ensure timely and accurate delivery of contractual deliverables for prompt invoicing.
6. Maintain accurate and current project forecasts using business management tools.
7. Ensure proper use of business tools and processes.
8. Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for effective project scheduling.
9. Organize subcontract testing and equipment hire as needed.
10. Visit clients as required.
11. Support LEAN and quality initiatives to improve workflow and productivity.
12. Perform other duties as necessary to support project delivery and business performance.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills:
* HNC (or equivalent) in engineering or relevant experience.
* Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
* Proactive in planning, delivering, and seeking improvements.
* Strong understanding of customer needs and experience enhancement.
* Knowledge of financial and commercial fundamentals, profit drivers, and business contribution areas.
* Balance technical judgment with commercial awareness.
* Proficiency in relevant business tools and Microsoft Office.
* Industry knowledge in Testing, Inspection, and Certification.
* Understanding of regulatory and voluntary compliance standards.
* Experience working with international clients.
