Were currently looking for a long:term Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teaching Assistant to support children for a Primary school in Rochdale. As a successful candidate, you will be working at a passionate primary school that enhances the curriculum to develop reading, writing, and math skills while instilling positive behavior in Years 1 and 2.
You will be responsible for supporting students consistently in the classroom, creating an uplifting learning environment, as well as continuing your own professional development within a stable team.
This is a full:time position for 5 days per week. Working hours would be from 8:30 AM : 3:30 PM.

Responsibilities:

Your role will consist of guided reading and targeted math interventions with small groups of children in class following the national curriculum.
*
Helping teachers to plan learning activities and complete student records.
*
Supporting teachers in managing Key Stage 1 class behavior.
Requirements:

Mandatory: Minimum 3:6 months of recent classroom:based or childcare experience.
*
An enhanced DBS on the update service.
*
Eligibility to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available with this role).

Effective communication skills and discipline.
*
Be committed to achieving high standards of teaching and learning for all.
