Our Bury Carers service are looking for a full time Service Manager to lead and oversee a busy and dynamic team in a truly hybrid working environment (between home, the office and the community of Bury), Due to some travel across the North of England the post holder is required to have use of a private vehicle for business purposes.
Typical Duties Will Include: Managing the Bury Carers contract, ensuring the team provide quality delivery and contractual outcomes.
Reporting and analysing performance, quality and outcomes Develop and maintain relationships/referral pathways with key stakeholders with the express aim of identifying and supporting hidden Carers int the community Oversee the production of a regular newsletter for Carers and professionals Representing the service at Carers specific meetings/events/networks Managing and leading on Carers Week and Carers Rights Day; sourcing sponsorship to fund events, promoting, increasing involvement and using these key dates as a vehicle to identify and support hidden Carers Ensuring required policy, process, systems and equipment are in place, fit for purpose, observed by the team and regularly are reviewed Ensuring the team use internal and externals systems in line with agreed protocols Budget management Working with senior management to inform annual operational budgets Responsible for managing expenditure against annual operational budgets and managing petty cash in line with agreed financial procedures On call support for out of hours working Contingency support through the Carers Services structure as required Please find attached on our website, the full Job Description, Person Specification and benefits package.
