We’re looking for a solid, reliable Refrigeration Engineer with strong experience and a great attitude, someone who wants to settle into a long-term role and be part of a brilliant team, covering mainly the central block of Scotland.
What We’re Looking for in a Refrigeration Engineer/Refrigeration Technician/Service Technician/Service Engineer:
* Someone with vast experience working on refrigeration, water chillers, and/or ammonia systems (ammonia training can be provided)
* Experience with F-Gas (essential), and ideally CO₂ and/or hydrocarbons but not essential
* Good understanding of refrigerants and system diagnostics
* Electrical qualifications would be a bonus
* A positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to continuously learn
What You’ll Be Doing as Refrigeration Engineer/Refrigeration Technician/Service Technician/Service Engineer:
* Service, maintain, repair, and commission heavy commercial and industrial refrigeration systems
* Diagnose both electrical and mechanical faults (including PC/PLC-based controls (training can be provided))
* Work with major clients across food, healthcare, and manufacturing sectors
* Provide detailed technical reports and liaise with clients on site
What’s In It for You as a Refrigeration Engineer/Refrigeration Technician/Service Technician/Service Engineer?
* Base Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 per annum
* (Take-home approximately £60,000 p.a. including standby and door-to-door pay) + On Target Earnings (OTE): Up to £75,000 p.a. with overtime
* Overtime paid at 1.5x during weekdays and 2x at weekends
