Bank Night Concierge

Job Title: Relief/Bank Worker

Location: This residential site, located in Brighton, benefits from great transport links, with Hove Station and several local bus routes nearby. Kindly be aware that step free access is not available at this service.

Salary: £12.60 p/h plus an additional 12.07% for annual leave accrual

Shift Pattern: Flexible working

About the Role

We're looking for Bank/Relief Workers to support with creating a safe, supportive and well-organised environment for the women who reside in our supported accommodation. The service provides low, medium, and high level support to women who have experienced homelessness, criminal justice history, substance use, mental health, and domestic abuse.

Key Responsibilities include:

* Ensure safety and security: Regular patrols, remain onsite throughout the shift, monitor and record incidents, concerns or maintenance, follow the procedures in place.

* Welfare and Monitoring: Conduct regular welfare checks, monitor compliance with communal living agreements, and report any safeguarding concerns to the point of contact in line with procedure.

* Incident Reporting.

* Work with the wider team to ensure handovers are provided clearly, and liaise with relevant people throughout the shift.

* Note repairs and maintenance to the relevant people.

About You

This is the perfect role for someone who is passionate about keeping people safe, and ensuring the security of buildings and residents who live within them. This is perfect for someone who is looking for some flexibility within their roles, to work alongside your other priorities and circumstances. Great for someone looking to build further experience within supported housing.

* Ability to work with people from multiple and complex backgrounds

* Ability to use, learn, and adapt to IT software

* Ability and willingness to show flexibility of working patterns, responding to the needs of the service and residents

* Proactive in making decisions to deal with challenges and providing a solution focused approach using initiative

* Sensitivity and empathy to others, and ability to deal with individual circumstances with professionalism
