Role: 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Childwall, Liverpool

Salary: £90-110 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

About the Role

We are currently seeking experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join a fantastic primary school located in the Childwall area of Liverpool. This school is looking to appoint 2 x SEN TAs on a full-time basis (Monday to Friday, 8:30-3:30)

Experience with SEN is essential, particularly ASD/ADHD. One role will be based in Year 5 and the other will be in KS1. There will be opportunities for permanent recruitment available for the successful candidate.

Person Specification

Qualifications

• Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification is desirable; however, those with relevant school experience will also be considered.
• GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above for both) or equivalent Level 2.
• Current DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one through Connex.
• Experience in KS1/2 
• Experience working with SEN pupils on a 1:1 basis
