Our Client is part of a large network of Accident Repair Sites across the UK. They are looking for an experienced Paint Sprayer / Prepper to join their team in a bodyshop with a great reputation with excellent in-house opportunities to allow you to progress your career to the next level!
To become a Paint Sprayer / Prepper, you'll typically need to have the following qualifications, skills, and experience:
To become a Vehicle Paint Sprayer, you'll typically need to have a relevant qualification or apprenticeship in vehicle body repair, as well as experience working as a paint sprayer in the Automotive industry. You should have a strong understanding of different types of paint and their applications, and be able to mix paint to the correct colour and consistency. You'll need to have excellent attention to detail, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and have good communication and customer service skills. Additionally, you should be familiar with health and safety guidelines and be able to ensure a clean and organised workspace. ATA or NVQ qualification would be advantageous but is not essential, however, they are looking for a Paint Sprayer who is willing to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies.

As a Vehicle Paint Sprayer for our client, your main duties will include preparing vehicles for painting, mixing paint to the correct colour and consistency, applying primer and paint using a spray gun, and ensuring a high-quality finish. You will also be responsible for keeping your workspace clean and organsied, following health and safety guidelines, and collaborating with other team members to ensure all work is completed on time and to a high standard. Additionally, you may be required to communicate with customers and provide advice and guidance on the best course of action for their vehicle.
