The Opportunity
CPL is actively recruiting for an ROI qualified Solicitor with 2 years+ PQE specialising in Commercial Real Estate to join a market leader within the EV industry as they enter an exciting period of growth across Northern Ireland and ROI.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Solicitor to gain unique experience and responsibility in a fast paced in-house legal team within a thriving industry.
About the role
As In-House Solicitor, you will play a vital role in helping the legal department function efficiently by providing Irish law real estate expertise and support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Managing a caseload of real estate matters, including conducting legal due diligence, drafting, negotiating, and completing commercial property leases and licenses.
* Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in conveyancing.
* Instructing and working closely with external counsel.
* Building and maintaining strong internal and external relationships through effective communication and timely updates.
* Reviewing, drafting, and amending a range of commercial contracts, construction contracts, NDAs, and internal policies, as well as providing ad hoc legal advice to the company.
* Solicitor qualified in the Republic of Ireland with a minimum of 2-5 years PQE (Northern Ireland qualification is advantageous but not essential).
* Proven experience handling own caseload, seeking assistance when necessary, and working to deadlines and service levels.
* Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Organised, methodical, with strong attention to detail.
* Strong written and oral communication skills.
