3D CAD / BIM Technician – Water Location: Apsley / Cookstown / Ilkeston / Glasgow Role Purpose We are looking for a skilled 3D CAD / BIM Technician to join a growing design team delivering water and wastewater treatment projects. This role combines hands-on technical modelling with coordination and mentoring responsibilities. You will be responsible for producing high-quality 3D models and technical drawings, supporting multidisciplinary collaboration, and helping to drive consistency and efficiency in BIM processes. The position also offers the opportunity to support and develop junior technicians while contributing to continuous improvement in digital design delivery. Key Responsibilities Develop detailed 3D models and 2D technical drawings using industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks. Collaborate with engineers, designers, and project teams to ensure accurate and coordinated design integration. Produce, review, and maintain high-quality models and drawings in line with client requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines. Carry out clash detection and coordinate design resolutions using BIM tools. Support and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance on software, standards, and best practices.
