About the Company
An international renewable energy solutions business specialising in photovoltaic mounting systems and solar infrastructure products.
Due to continued growth across the UK market, they are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to support business development, strengthen customer relationships, and drive revenue growth.
This role will work closely with technical, marketing, finance, and support teams to expand market presence and deliver high-quality solutions to customers across the renewable energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Achieve annual and quarterly sales targets set by the business
* Develop and execute market expansion strategies within the UK solar sector
* Build and maintain strong relationships with installers, distributors, EPCs, and other industry partners
* Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable photovoltaic mounting and installation solutions
* Present technical product solutions to clients both online and in person
* Deliver product training sessions, webinars, and presentations at trade shows and industry events
* Manage the full sales cycle, including quotations, proposals, negotiations, and contract discussions
* Support order management and ensure a high standard of customer service and delivery quality
* Monitor customer accounts and assist with payment collection processes
* Provide market feedback and customer insights to internal stakeholders
* Undertake additional responsibilities as required by the business
Skills & Experience
* Technical or commercial qualification, ideally with experience selling technical products or solutions
* Must have experience dealing with the residential market place
* Minimum 3 years’ sales experience within the photovoltaic (PV) or renewable energy sector
* Strong understanding of roof-mounted and ground-mounted PV systems
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
* Fluent English language skills; additional European languages are advantageous
* Confident working with customers in a B2B environment
* Strong organisational, relationship-building, and problem-solving abilities
* Comfortable working within an international and multicultural business environment
* Willingness to travel regularly across the UK (approximately 40–50%)
* Full UK driving licence required
