Role Responsibility
Role Responsibility
In Kent, our approach to the Turnaround programme is to enhance our Adolescent Early Help offer by providing specialist education, training, and employment support, to maximise attendance, engagement, and attainment of a target group of children.
Were looking to recruit an Education, Training and Employment (ETE) Officer for our Turnaround team. Posts are funded by the Ministry of Justice until the end of March 2029. ETE Officers are required for the following areas; Kent South 1 covering Dover, Folkestone and Hythe, Kent South 2 covering Ashford and Canterbury, and East Kent covering Thanet and Canterbury and will be aligned to, and working alongside, the Adolescent Early Help unit in that area, and line managed by the Unit Lead. Full time and part time (3 or 4 days per week) opportunities are available. We will be exhausting our redeployment pool first, followed by any external applicants.
Were looking for motivated and skilled people with a mixture of excellent knowledge of the education, training, and employment landscape (including legislation and practice in relation to part-time tables, inclusion, and attendance), with the enthusiasm and resilience to offer excellent hands-on, practical support directly to children and their families.
