Part Time HR Advisor / Manager
Location: Gloucester area (GL2) – hybrid (minimum 1 day in office per week)
Hours: 21 hours per week (flexible)
Salary: Up to £35,000 pro rata + benefits

We’re recruiting for a part-time HR Advisor / Manager to join a growing charity focused on sustainability, community development, and tackling fuel poverty. With a rapidly expanding team, this is a fantastic opportunity to lead and develop the HR function.
The Role
Reporting to the Director of Finance and supported by an HR Administrator, your responsibilities will include:

Leading recruitment and onboarding processes

Acting as the first point of contact for employee relations and promoting a positive workplace culture
*
Overseeing performance management, appraisals, and professional development
*
Managing payroll, compensation, and benefits administration
*
Identifying training needs and developing learning programmes
*
Reviewing and updating HR policies to ensure legal compliance
*
Supporting senior management on HR strategy, employee engagement, and retention initiatives
*
Producing HR data and reports to inform decision-making
*
Delivering training on GDPR and Safeguarding, and contributing to Equality, Diversity & Inclusion initiatives
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:

CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent experience)
*
Experienced in a generalist HR role at a similar level
*
Knowledgeable in employment law and HR best practice
*
A strong communicator with excellent problem-solving skills
*
Highly organised, analytical, and detail-focused
*
Professional, proactive, and self-motivated
