Logistics Transport Planner Location: Birmingham B46 Permanent Vacancy Sector: Logistics / Distribution Role and key responsibilities for our clients Logistics Transport Planner Plan and schedule daily transport routes and vehicle allocations Use transport management system (TMS) and other software Ensure compliance with transport regulations, driver hours, and health & safety requirements Coordinate vehicle maintenance schedules and availability Maintain accurate transport records and planning documentation Dealing with Palletised stock & Logistics Minimum requirements for our clients Logistics Transport Planner Experience in transport planning, logistics, or fleet coordination Strong organisational and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities Good geographical knowledge and route-planning ability Excellent communication and customer service skills Competent in Microsoft Office and transport planning systems Understanding of driver hours, transport compliance, and health & safety regulations Ability to work independently and as part of a team CPC qualification or knowledge of transport compliance Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum PAYE, paid monthly Statutory Deductions for TAX, NI and Pension if not opted out apply Working hours Monday - Friday: 08:30 - 16:30 This position is subject to a Mandatory Skills Assessment This job is commutable from the following areas, Curdworth, Blyth End, Lea Marston, Water Orton, Birmingham (city centre), Solihull, Sutton Coldfield, Tamworth, Nuneaton, Hinckley, Coventry If you believe that your skills and experience match what we are looking for please submit your CV by clicking "Apply Now" and we will be in touch immediately.
