A primary school in Darwen is looking for a motivated Sports Coach to join their team for a classroom‑based support role running from April to July 2026. While a strong background in sport is essential, this position does not involve delivering sports coaching. Instead, you’ll be supporting pupils within mainstream primary classrooms, helping to create a positive learning environment and contributing to pupils’ academic and personal development.
What the Role Involves
* Supporting teaching and learning across different primary age groups
* Assisting with classroom tasks, small‑group activities, and behaviour support
* Using your sports experience to encourage teamwork, resilience, and positive attitudes
* Helping pupils stay engaged, focused, and confident in lessons

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
