What you will be doing:
1. Provide an efficient and timely Commercial Management service, including management of contracted commitments, invoicing, issuing credits, TotalCare escalation and reconciliations, offer letters, contract interpretation, and amendments to contracts.
2. Manage the resolution of customer issues, claims, disputes, and litigation to minimize cost and risk to the company. Draft, negotiate, and agree on associated commercial settlements and/or contractual amendments as necessary.
3. Identify and assess potential risks and liabilities inherent in contracts and propose and negotiate amendments to manage, minimize, or mitigate such risks or liabilities while achieving expected financial returns.
4. Manage profit, cash, and debt relating to allocated contracts to ensure that financial targets are achieved and provide timely and accurate inputs into the financial forecasting process.
5. Interface with specialist departments within the company to obtain advice and guidance. Evaluate such advice and develop pragmatic solutions to complex, multi-dimensional issues to meet customer and business requirements.
6. Ensure delivery of relevant Customer Regional Team objectives in line with Business Plan Deployment, demonstrating compliance with Commercial/General Counsel functions and business policies and procedures.
7. Complete business approvals in accordance with applicable business policies and procedures; support customer visits as required.
