So, what does the role involve?
Well, quite a bit but don’t worry, you’ll be well supported. You’ll:
* Develop and guide therapeutic programmes that meet each person where they are, using a CBT-based approach.
* Help people feel heard, respected, and included as they work towards their goals.
* Take the lead in delivering some of the programme sessions, and get stuck in with group activities too.
* Offer supervision and support to colleagues, helping the whole team provide the highest standard of care.
* Keep records up-to-date and liaise with external professionals all part of keeping things running smoothly.
What are we looking for?
We’re after someone with a strong background in social care or a related field ideally:
* SVQ Level 4 in Social Care (Desirable)
* A good understanding of addiction and recovery, and how to tailor support to meet different needs.
* A confident communicator who’s comfortable with digital tools and record-keeping.
* A Christian faith, and a willingness to uphold and reflect our values in your day-to-day work.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
