#### Role**Group Support Facilitator (Living with Uncertainty/Fear of Recurrence)**At Beatson Cancer Charity we support and enhance the treatment, care and wellbeing of current, former and futurecancer patients and their families. We work in partnership with the NHS, The Beatson West of Scotland CancerCentre (BWoSCC) and all related facilities. We also offer the wider community a unique opportunity to contributeto the enhancement of cancer care.Beatson Cancer Charity’s Living with Uncertainty/Fear or Recurrence Group Programme (funded by National LotteryCommunity Fund), supports people who are affected by cancer, to manage the psychological and emotional impact.Our team of psychologists and facilitators work alongside clients to help them improve their understanding ofthe issues they face and help them live well, in line with their values, and alongside the difficulties theyface. This supports them to improve their confidence and enhance their overall resilience.**Role Purpose**As part of a small team, the Facilitator will work with our psychologist, to deliver support. This will be deliveredwithin an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and person-centered framework and will include, assessment andtriage of referrals, delivery of a structured group psycho-educational programme, person centered support andsignposting and supported transitions to associated services as appropriate.
