Job Summary:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and committed individual to join The Salvation Army Debt Advice Team. We are looking to recruit a Debt Advisor Caseworker to support the increasing number of people seeking advice from our Central service.
The successful candidate will be accountable to the Quality Manager and Coordinator. You will need to be able to attend departmental meetings and training as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Supported by The Salvation Army’s national Financial Inclusion Development and Quality managers, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a debt caseload of clients and supporting clients in finding a debt solution whilst providing financial capability sessions.
Successful candidate will have:
1. The ability and desire to support those people burdened with debt
2. Good communication skills
3. Administration, IT and advisory experience.
4. Ability to work on your own initiative and in a team
The post-holder will support the mission of The Salvation Army by meeting the needs of those struggling with debt.
