Location: Broxbourne & surrounding areas (with some campus delivery)
Rate: £28.95 per hour
Contract: 23.4 hours per week, Temporary

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting apprentices and employers through the full apprenticeship journey — from enrolment through to successful End Point Assessment — helping learners to achieve outstanding outcomes and progress in their careers.
Key Responsibilities
As an Apprenticeship Assessor/Trainer, you will:
* Manage a caseload of apprentices, providing high-quality training, assessment and support
* Act as a key point of contact for employers, supporting attendance, progress and performance
* Deliver practical assessments in the workplace
* Support apprentices with Maths & English (Functional Skills) where required
* Ensure accurate and timely recording of learner progress on the e-portfolio system (Smart Assessor)
* Prepare apprentices for successful End Point Assessment
* Complete learner reviews and set SMART targets to support timely achievement
* Maintain compliance with Awarding Body, ESFA and Ofsted requirements
* Support learner safeguarding, health & safety, equality & diversity and British Values
* Contribute to employer engagement and promotional activities
About You
We are looking for a professional, organised and learner-focused individual with:
Essential:
* Occupational experience within Electrical (or relevant specialism)
* NVQ Level 3 (or above) in the relevant subject area (or willingness to work towards)
* GCSE English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above) or Level 2 equivalent
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* IT literacy and experience using e-portfolio systems
* Ability to manage a caseload and meet deadlines
Desirable:
* Assessor qualification (TAQA)
* Teaching qualification
* Health & Safety qualification
* Experience working within FE or apprenticeships
* Experience with Awarding Bodies and End Point Assessment Organisations
* Internal Verifier (IQA) qualification

The successful candidates will have to complete the HRG Compliance Process, which is
* In person ID and Proof of Address verification appointment at Ware/Broxbourne Campus
* Enhanced DBS application - administrated by HRG but at a cost of £65.20 (unless you already hold an enhanced DBS on the update service)
* 2 years of professional/character references taken and verified
* Several Online Training Modules sent out to you as stipulated by HRC
