Role: Our client is looking for an immediate, temporary, Financial Accountant to assist them for 15 months. You be will be responsible for following duties: Support the monthly and annual group consolidation process for the group, assisting in the preparation of information for internal and external stakeholders in line with agreed timetables. Assist with the annual Group audit, including supporting the preparation of statutory accounts and liaising with Group auditors under the guidance of senior finance team members. Contribute to the preparation and maintenance of group-related deliverables, including acquisitions, disposals, consolidations, fair value adjustments and cash flow reporting. Support ongoing improvements in the quality, accuracy and timeliness of financial information provided to internal and external stakeholders. Assist with the implementation and ongoing maintenance of new accounting systems, including testing, documentation and user support. Prepare draft briefing papers and analysis on commercial and accounting matters for review by senior finance colleagues. Support the day-to-day accounting and audit activities of the Parent / Holding Company, ensuring appropriate documentation and controls are maintained. Work closely with the Group Reporting Accountant and wider finance team, providing analytical and administrative support as required. Participate in ad hoc projects and analysis, gaining exposure to a broad range of group finance activities. Profile: The successful, temporary Financial Accountant will be part qualified or finalist level however they will consider a qualified candidate. You will have experience with consolidations and be happy to do 5 days a week in the office. You must be immediate or 1 weeks notice to be considered for this role. Salary & Benefits: The temporary Financial Accountant role will be paying circa £45,000 - £55,000 pro rata, dependant on experience.
