Pay Rate: £16.36/h
Hours: 12-hour shifts (days/nights/weekends), average 42 hours per week plus overtime opportunities.

Exceptional Training – Provided by Mitie
Successful applicants will complete a full training package, all fully funded by Mitie. Training includes:
1. First Response Emergency Care (FREC 3) – 5 days
2. Medical Gases (Oxygen and Entonox) – 2 days (or integrated within FREC 3)
3. Basic Fire Training – 2 days
From day one, you will be part of a professional response team equipped with the knowledge and confidence to handle critical incidents and protect people, property, and the environment.

Your Role
As an Emergency Response Team Officer, you will play a key part in maintaining safety and security across a major client site. Responsibilities include:
6. Providing a visible and proactive security presence
7. Responding quickly and effectively to fires, first aid incidents, and environmental emergencies
8. Maintaining and inspecting emergency equipment to operational standards
9. Conducting internal and external patrols, searches, and incident reporting
10. Supporting compliance with health, safety, and security policies
What We're Looking For
We're seeking motivated, professional individuals who are ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role.
Essential Requirements:
11. Full, clean UK driving licence
12. Valid SIA front line licence (fully funded)
13. Ability to pass a medical and fitness test (including suitability for breathing apparatus)
14. Professional appearance and positive attitude
15. Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, and weekends
16. Ability to pass security vetting and random drug/alcohol testing
17. Basic/intermediate IT skills
Desirable:
18. FREC 3 medical qualification (if already held)
Please note: if breathing apparatus was requiremented, candidates must remain clean-shaven or maintain a tightly trimmed goatee-style beard to ensure equipment compatibility.
