Caretaker
Bow Cross - London
£28,734 - £30,246 per year
40 hours per week – Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
We are seeking a Caretaker to join our team at our Estate Services team based in London.
As a Caretaker, you will be responsible for carrying out bulk removals and disposing of items properly, as well as general cleaning of communal areas. The ideal candidate will have cleaning or caretaking experience, a track record of delivering high-quality services, and demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and customer service.
The role of Caretaker will include:
* Removal of bulk and overspills
* Undertaking general caretaking duties including cleaning of communal areas
* Grounds maintenance tasks such as litter picking and general upkeep
* Working with customers to resolve issues and improve services
* Completing all documents and paperwork concerning tasks completed
* Carrying out Health and Safety Inspections and reporting necessary repairs
* Complying with relevant policies and maintaining a Health and Safety focus
* Ensuring tools and equipment are maintained in good condition
Skills and experiences:
* Experience in a similar cleaning or caretaking role
* British Institute Certificate in Cleaning Services (BICS) is advantageous
* Practical experience operating hand tools and light machinery
* Experience working to deadlines and prioritising workloads
* Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
* Good communication and customer care skills
* Valid UK manual driving licence required as driving on company business is involved

The salary for this role is £27,940, with an annual policy allowance of £793, increasing to £29,411 with an allowance of £835 after 12 months, subject to performance.
