Role: Contract DevSecOps Engineer
Location: Hampshire (3 days per week onsite)
Day Rate: £700 to £750 p/d Inside IR35
Duration: Initial 6 months
Clearance: BPSS + ideally active SC or UKSV DV/MOD DV
We're looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to support a major Defence programme. You'll work across cloud, containerisation, CI/CD, and SRE principles to improve release speed, reliability, and operational performance.
Key responsibilities:
* Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines
* Coach teams in DevSecOps
* Work with product, engineering, security, and QA
* Support live systems and troubleshoot issues
* Contribute to agile delivery
Tech experience (mix of):
* AWS (Azure/GCP beneficial)
* Vulnerability management, IDAM, scanning tools
* Docker/Podman, Kubernetes, GPU containerisation
* Microservices, serverless, REST/gRPC, Kafka/MQTT
* Git, GitLab CI/CD, Terraform/Ansible/Puppet
* Python/Rust, Linux scripting
* Prometheus, Grafana, Elastic
