About the Role
The successful candidate will join a vibrant Humanities department, delivering a curriculum designed to provide students with a balanced understanding of the human and physical world. This is a full:time position starting ASAP, where the educator will be responsible for teaching Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4. The role involves not just classroom teaching, but also facilitating fieldwork and helping students develop into sustainable global citizens.

Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness for one).
* Knowledge of current GCSE exam board specifications.
* Eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities
* Deliver high:quality Geography lessons that inspire and challenge all learners.
* Set and mark meaningful assessments to track student progress.
* Prepare Year 11 students for GCSE examinations through targeted revision.
* Act as a Form Tutor, supporting the pastoral and personal development of students.
* Organise and execute geography fieldwork to bring the curriculum to life.
* Engage with parents and carers through evenings and regular progress reports.
* Participate in departmental meetings and Trust:wide CPD sessions.
* Foster an inclusive environment for students within the specialist provision.
* Contribute to the Contextual Curriculum exploring global domestic issues.
* Maintain a safe and organised classroom environment conducive to learning.
